So if you don’t have a degree you are not educated!

Careful, your prejudice is creeping out a little there.

Patriotism has nothing to do with education.

Given that the level of education is strongly correlated with support for Brexit, your final claim must mean you think that Brexit has nothing to do with patriotism (which for once is correct).

So be it.

...and when reality bites, watch the main players in this debacle skulk away, where only a year before they were hailed as heroes..

We go from an amicable Brexit, to 100% severing of all ties, and if its not this, it a betrayal, Brexit..

Brexit correlates to age; that’s definately the case; and more young people study degrees these days, which is why there is a weak correlation between degree education and Brexit voting.

But having a degree does not make you in any way shape or form a more worthy citizen.

Do you think age makes you more patriotic?

I like the 5% UKIPers who voted remain!

Degree 68% & no differentiation between successful & otherwise.

CoVIs said to look at Ashcroft's polling data.

And the 32% of Lib Dem’s!

Does Vince speak for them?

You're the one who says Brexit is patriotic.

No I mean ‘more patriotic’

Surely you are either patriotic or not patriotic. How can you be more patriotic? By wearing Union Jack Pants?

Maybe that’s because the hardline Brexiteers want a hardline brexit.

I think we’re on the cusp of a swing  to no deal tbh.

The Euro election will be brutal.

Who cares about Euro election?

Tories and Labour have a plan, what do you think they negotiated last 3 weeks?

There will be little bit of hooray from Farage and his sympathizers, but that will be it.

Age gives one real world experience.

Anyone over 62 was old enough to vote in the 1st referendum (2019 - 1975 + 18 = 62).

In the yougov poll, those aged 65+ voted 64% leave in the 2nd referendum. When they had voted remain in the 1st referendum. Apparently as a result of living within & witnessing the evolution of EU over four decades.

Do you think Theresa May is patriotic, given that she chose not to deliver Brexit with no deal?

Europeans interested in democracy?

Yes they do.

But I mean in the UK. If Tory and Labour are going to do a deal, the vote will come to nothing.

I think the chances of that happening are vanishingly small.

Actually what I’ve been reading it’s age plus being RW that messes your head into being a Brexiteer.

The education thing has to be taken with a pinch of salt as back in the day less people took degrees.

If it’s any consolation it might suggest authoritarian dogmatic intolerant people predisposed to moral panics and hysteria over folk devils are amenable to Brexit but they aren’t necessarily ‘thick’.
