Errol
Everyone needs to be voting 'LEAVE'. It's the only way to at least make a start at curbing this nonsense.
JustAnotherProle
Totally unsustainable for such a small island with already crumbling infrastructure and economy. The government should be in a court of law being prosecuted for this. LEAVE or it's more of the same.

crashmonitor
And this sums up the short sited nature of a Remain vote. Short term fixes to support house prices and the economy to bugger up the future for everybody in decades to come (new migrants excepted because the rest of the world is even crappier) But what else do you expect from Guardian reading socialists...live for today is in their DNA. The resident lefty loon (£700k house, £50k audi SUV) a couple of streets down from me sent her two young daughters out knocking doors yesterday evening, begging us to vote remain. She did this last election for miliband too. For all the far right propaganda nonsense, it seems only leftists actually rope their children into protests, etc. You rarely see the far right forcing their children to do this stuff. Only if the incomers are productive members of society. My guess is that as soon as tax credits are scrapped, well see about 3m disappear. The big mistake many critics make of the EU is that you can't do anything to control migration. You can, and here's one example. In countries like Spain and Italy, in order to have the right to remain and work, you have to apply for a residency permit. The conditions are currently not that stringent - if you have a job offer and 6k in the bank, no problem. But the conditions are set locally. It means that you can't just move there and claim off the state - most benefits are contribution-based in any case. If you believe that measures are encouraging too many migrants then you should get your government to do something about it. The EU is a red herring. Tbh I don't know which system would allow us to get a government that would rectify things. Talk or Stay or Leave, or PR versus first-past-the-post... not sure any option would change matters. malk
Echo echo boom UK will dominate Europe in 20-30 years What me must do is invest in the infrastructure to support it now. But we're full! We couldn't possibly build on the 89.4% of English (not British) land that is currently not built on, that'd be crazy. And all we need to do is reduce the % of foreign born people down from the massive 13.1% (2014) it currently stands at and our public services will be incredible, despite not spending any bloody money on them (and loads of the people who working in them being foreign born).
