Unwins staff face eviction threat

Hundreds of former staff living above branches of the failed off-licence chain Unwins face a battle to find a new home and get paid.

Thanks for the post but this is now old news. Nothing even wrong with that but Unwins tenants were kicked out, in the main, months ago. Most of them were looking for homes last summer. Nevertheless it is important to point out (please see numerous previous posts) that the sad mess of Unwins has roots in the acquiring company now suing, or threatening, to sue the old firm for hoodwinking them about accounts which showed a rosier picture than was later discovered. It's probably six of one and half a dozen of the other but the losers are the loyal staff who were fired and dispossessed with very little notice.
