The fallout will ensure a second referendum with the implications of another out vote being reality and no longer alleged scaremongering. Farage, Gove and co will then disappear. The EU does absolutely nothing to prevent war, if anything they exacerbate it pushing East saying nice things to UKR about getting them into the fold, whilst at the same time pissing Vlad off just across the UKR border. So much so a group of Russian separatists, keen for Eastern UKR to join Russia they start warring with the home state aided by the Russians with weapons and specialists... The Russians lost more people in WW2 than any other nation and get very twitchy about foreign troops close to it's borders. If it were not for the EU cosying up to the leaders in Kiev then there is every possibility that Malaysian airliner would NOT have been shot down...... Would agree to a point but the NMW wages is set to reach £9.20 ph within the next four years ,when you have and average wage of £3-4ph in most of the eastern block countries that's still a massive draw ..regardless of WTC I don`t see out of work benefits as a problem as most come here to work ,the problem is lack of jobs and downward pressure on wages WTC do play a massive part when it comes to wage levels I think it`s a case of dealing with one problem at a time who will do thah and when that will be done is anyone's guess Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'll spell it out. A Brexit vote with a low turnout can be judged as no mandate, a bit like you lot would say if the vote is to stay with a low turnout. The difference between the two scenarios is that with the Brexit vote people like you will be faced with the consequences of what you voted for and whilst there may still be some who think job losses, a devalued pound, inlflation, increased taxes and falling living standards are a price worth paying for sovereignty, a substantial number who voted out will suddenly be faced with the dawning realisation that the warnings they had been given were not scaremongering at all. For instance 84% in Poland and 96% in Romania. Those are 2014 figures so they could be higher now.
