My wife, who was going to vote Remain, just watched Cameron's war speech and said "What a xxxx, I'm going to vote for Brexit now, just to xxxx him off".

So, we are now united.... nice one Dave :lol::lol: .

As Boris Johnson said today, this is the same David Cameron who said 6 months ago, if he didnt get 'compromises' from the EU, he'd consider voting to leave.

Because obviously world war is preferable to not paying Poles benefits for 12 months...

Bruce, you havn't been paying attention. My preferred outcome is a vote for Brexit with a low turnout. The fallout will ensure a second referendum with the implications of another out vote being reality and no longer alleged scaremongering. Farage, Gove and co will then disappear.

Still having trouble with joined up thinking ? turnout is irrelevant it`s all about percentages IF there were ever to be another vote

Dave&co have stated many times it will be one vote and one vote only ,project fear is working well so with a bit of luck we wont need to test that one and someone will have all the material to produce a great comedy

William Hill has it 5 to 1 on that we will all die of scurvy buy christmas if we vote Brexit....because Dave said so

Whilst looking for an extract in one of Churchill's speeches I came across the word, Quisling.

Will architects of fearism be called Camerons from now on?

The then Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Winston Churchill used the term during an address to the Allied Delegates at St. James's Palace on 21 June 1941, when he said:[8]"A vile race of Quislings—to use a new word which will carry the scorn of mankind down the centuries—is hired to fawn upon the conqueror, to collaborate in his designs and to enforce his rule upon their fellow countrymen while grovelling low themselves." He used the term again in an address to both houses of Congress in the United States of America on 26 December 1941.[9] Commenting upon the effect of a number of Allied victories against Axis forces, and moreover the United States’ decision to enter the war, Churchill opined that; "Hope has returned to the hearts of scores of millions of men and women, and with that hope there burns the flame of anger against the brutal, corrupt invader. And still more fiercely burn the fires of hatred and contempt for the filthy Quislings whom he has suborned."[10] It subsequently entered the language, and became a target for political cartoonists.[11]

Dave has cocked this up big time. This argument will be pulled to pieces and exposed for project fear which it really is......

The EU does absolutely nothing to prevent war, if anything they exacerbate it pushing East saying nice things to UKR about getting them into the fold, whilst at the same time pissing Vlad off just across the UKR border. So much so a group of Russian separatists, keen for Eastern UKR to join Russia they start warring with the home state aided by the Russians with weapons and specialists...

The Russians lost more people in WW2 than any other nation and get very twitchy about foreign troops close to it's borders.

If it were not for the EU cosying up to the leaders in Kiev then there is every possibility that Malaysian airliner would NOT have been shot down......

Found an extract from Churchill's speech in Zurich, September 1946: http://www.churchill-society-london.org.uk/astonish.html

Great Britain, the British Commonwealth of Nations, mighty America, and I trust Soviet Russia - for then indeed all would be well - must be the friends and sponsors of the new Europe and must champion its right to live and shine.

Problem is, both sides are fcking nuts.

Cameron doing his WW3 speech.

Gove doing his pull out of the single market.

Its all fcking nuts.

Just move to a contriubtory,. non-needs based welfare system FFS.

Thatll get shot of the EEs and kick up the lazy **** UK benefit sponges too.

Would agree to a point but the NMW wages is set to reach £9.20 ph within the next four years ,when you have and average wage of £3-4ph in most of the eastern block countries that's still a massive draw ..regardless of WTC

I don`t see out of work benefits as a problem as most come here to work ,the problem is lack of jobs and downward pressure on wages WTC do play a massive part when it comes to wage levels

I think it`s a case of dealing with one problem at a time who will do thah and when that will be done is anyone's guess

A bit over your head maybe. I'll spell it out. A Brexit vote with a low turnout can be judged as no mandate, a bit like you lot would say if the vote is to stay with a low turnout. The difference between the two scenarios is that with the Brexit vote people like you will be faced with the consequences of what you voted for and whilst there may still be some who think job losses, a devalued pound, inlflation, increased taxes and falling living standards are a price worth paying for sovereignty, a substantial number who voted out will suddenly be faced with the dawning realisation that the warnings they had been given were not scaremongering at all. At that point a second referendum becomes a probability.

IDS sounding very statesmanlike on the Brexit side...... on news now....... Makes Cameron sound like a spiv by comparison.

You are havin a larf! IDS is a joke, spent a couple of years as leader of the Tories and couldn't handle it. IDS is a bottler, not up to the job, and thats before we discuss the fiasco over Universal credit. IDS makes Boris Johnsons London housing policy and Thunderbird puppet Gove's Education reforms look like the works of a genius. IDS, Johnson and Gove, what a team.

Especially considering very high percentages of eastern block people own their own home already. For instance 84% in Poland and 96% in Romania. Those are 2014 figures so they could be higher now.

Much higher home ownership percentages than in the UK.

But they cannot do it without hounsign benefit.

If you have someone coming from another EU country then they are not homeless and should not be housed or subbed.
