Dave gets things the wrong way round. For decades the Germans/the eu got their own way and gained concessions from the UK people by threatening the risk of war (typically sign this new treaty or there's a risk of war).

So Dave thinks he should also threaten UK people that way so that the eu gets it's own way again. It's a bit rough when the eu as well as the UK leader are both threatening the UK people with war.

Dave doesn't realise that it would have been beneficial to the UK if he'd appraised the eu of the risk of war when "negotiating" with the eu on the referendum terms so that he might have got some real concessions for the UK people this time. He should go wave a letter around.

Cameron's going over the top tomorrow. Leaving the EU will cause WORLD WAR AND GENOCIDE!!!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-the-papers-36244436

And lo we shall eat our firstborn and much will be the wailing and gnashing of teeth!

We're doomed! Doomed I tell you!

Cameron is making himself look ridiculous. Does he really think we'll fall for that rubbish?

At this rate he'll have run out of things to scare us with long before June 23rd.

Am I alone in no longer believing a word that comes out of his mouth?

We must vote for a Brexit if only to get rid of this man.

And was he aware of this risk of war when he proposed the referendum. Strange he hasn't mentioned it before. Edited by GloomMonger

And was he aware of this risk of war when he proposed the referendum. Strange he hasn't mentioned it before.

And more recently than that he said that he would recommend a Brexit if he couldn't negotiate a good deal. Ultimately, of course, he did neither.

As I have mentioned before you are part of the group who are ideologically opposed to the EU. No amount of evidence will change your mind or the minds if people like you. Talking amongst yourselves might help to reinforce your own ideologies and insecurities in the face of growing evidence that Brexit is bad news but more importantly for those who have not made up their minds yet, the big picture will prove more important than Brexiteer prejudices and it is the big picture that will win the day.

It really is pointless replying to your posts as you completely ignore anything that doesn't suit your agenda and continue to spout the same rhetoric.

For the umpteenth time, I am not ideologically opposed to the EU, I am ideologically opposed to the leaders of this so called Conservative government and see a Brexit as the best means to rid the country of what is becoming the worst government in living memory.

An economy based on ever increasing borrowing and debt, both individual and government, is the real danger and the relatively small differences between being in or out of the EU pale into insignificance compared to that.

Brexit 'risks peace in Europe'

History of Europe:

War

War

War

War

War

War

Arguments about bananas.

Oh you are so the deluded one..

Consider this for one moment....

If BREXIT risks war why are we having a referendum in the first place?

In the cold grey light of dawn.....

EU= Organising fish quotas..

NATO = Peace and Security across Europe..

Membership of either is not exclusive to membership of one. Have a read of of Article 5 of NATO founding principles. That should nail it for you and make Dave look like the complete tool he is....

Dave has cocked this up big time. This argument will be pulled to pieces and exposed for project fear which it really is......

The EU does absolutely nothing to prevent war, if anything they exacerbate it pushing East saying nice things to UKR about getting them into the fold, whilst at the same time pissing Vlad off just across the UKR border. So much so a group of Russian separatists, keen for Eastern UKR to join Russia they start warring with the home state aided by the Russians with weapons and specialists...

The Russians lost more people in WW2 than any other nation and get very twitchy about foreign troops close to it's borders.

If it were not for the EU cosying up to the leaders in Kiev then there is every possibility that Malaysian airliner would NOT have been shot down......

Interesting to read the tabloids this morning,

The Mirror was one of the few to allow comments on the report, headlined:

Brexit' could trigger World War Three, warns David Cameron

It's hard to find anyone who shares his warped view of history, which conveniently omits the fact that the Iraq war was only made possible by the Tories after the biggest Labour back bench rebellion in history.

A few Months ago he was ready to walk away if he couldn't strike a deal which was right for Britain......

Today if we vote BREXIT the whole of Europe will be aflame and at war.....

Cameron didn't have much credibility to start with but he has now plunged to the depths of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown...... Talk about ******* loon!!!!

He rules nothing out....

Words can describe the duplicity of this man, the problem is you can't use them on this forum.

To be fair, he is one of 34 Bremainers according to the EU poll thread and I am open to hearing more voices from their side:

He should realise that towel folding roles are not so easily come by these days. Osborne has already got his name down.....with 600 people ahead of him I think he has a chance.

No mention of war and genocide in his HM Government referendum pamphlet. You would have thought it would have rated a mention.

Did he forget the war and genocide when it was published.

I guess most people who are not ideologically opposed to the EU will look at the history of Europe before the EU compared to the years since the EU was formed and make their own judgement over whether war is more or less likely with a strong EU or with an EU weakened by the UK leaving. Whilst you may claim that the EU has not contributed to peace in Europe for over 50 years, the evidence suggests otherwise.

As for the ludicrous argument that a referrendum should not have been called if war was more likely as a result of a possible UK exit. Well what do you think the response from Farage, the right wing of the Tory party and the billionaire owned anti EU media would have been? Better to lance the boil now than to encourage the outers.

I won't be surprised if Cameron will soon tell the nation to expect the 10 Plagues of Egypt if we vote for the Brexit.

...what this simple man Cameron fails to understand or forgets to include is that all these grave predictions could happen whether we leave or stay.....

New research shows global warming caused by brexit. London to disappear under waves.
