Mission Impossible:Tom Cruise can't find a buyer for his £5m East Grinstead home
The Hollywood star bought listed Rede Place in West Sussex for £3 million in 2006 and listed it last October for £4.94 million. With no takers so far, perhaps a price drop is in order...

Go figure... :rolleyes::rolleyes:

The trouble with all these ultra-rich folk is that they're too busy to watch those important educational programmes on TV. For example, if he'd have watched Sarah Beeny's 'How to sell your home' he'd have known all about the simple things you can do to help get buyers interested. He probably didn't even have twigs in the window or the aroma of fresh coffee & bread to stimulate the senses while people are viewing.

That games room is rubbish. You can't play snooker because the pool table is in the way. So you try pool but can't play that either as the snooker table is in the way.

What a stupid f**king degenerate. He might have hundreds of millions, but he can't act and he's about 4ft 6.

I do think there's a lot of substance to the claims that many scientologists are closet cases. Many of the followers have lots of rumours surrounding them.

Also that room has decor of a working mans club. Trying too hard to be quaint/period.

Part of the house looks like Romulan warship. Who gets up there to clean the windows.

Trouble with hpc now is totally immune to crazy prices. £4+ million.

Terraces in Bath bought in 2008 on iO mortgages for circa £400K (the victims) - sell for £625K (after first trying £515K, but then deciding to hike price into more madness). New £700K for houses that fall down under modernisation some naffy edge of London. And still with all the innocence.

He's selling because he's moving into the Scientology place down the road. There's loads of the nutcases round here.

I quite like forest row, the people are alot more interesting and free thinkers than average joe and its not just Scientology around there.

Thank goodness another rich overseas buyer is finally seeing no value and is selling up.

The plot can be used for redevelopment for British locals or more likely some other rich overseas buyers to live in the world's most expensive and most tiny and miniature apartments all crammed together like they're going to be increasingly portrayed in the movies. Dave, George, Mark and the property developers etc can all rejoice at the extra stamp duty and profits.

It's a common estate agent's "trick" to flip a photo horizontally to make it "look better". I expect that's what has happened in this case. (Which of course in and of itself is false advertising).
