The Hpc Anthem?

Recommended Posts

The lyrics in this classic tune seem very relevant to today's housing market situation:

"It's like sitting on a timebomb, waiting for the hurt to come".

The song is about a love affair and could very well be just as appropriate to the House Price Bubble!

"I get the feeling that the fuse is getting shorter!". Indeed!

Hello, is there anybody in there

just nod if you can hear me

is there anyone at home?

Come on now, I hear you're feeling down

well I can ease your pain, and get you on your feet again

Relax, I need some information first,

Just the basic facts, can you show me where it hurts?

There is no pain you are receding,

A distant ship smoke on the horizon

You are only coming through in waves

Your lips move, but I can't hear what you're saying

When I was a child, I had a fever

My hands felt just like two balloons

Now I've got that feeling once again, I can't explain

you would not understand, this is not how I am

And I have become comfortably numb

OK, just a little pinprick

there'll be no more AAHHH

but you may feel a little sick

can you stand up, I do believe its working, good

that'll keep you going through the show

come on its time to go

There is no pain you are receding,

A distant ship smoke on the horizon

You are only coming through in waves

Your lips move, but I can't hear what you're saying

When I was a child, I caught a fleeting glimpse

out of the corner of my eye

I turned to look but it was gone

I cannot put my finger on it now

the child is grown, the dream is gone

And I have become comfortably numb

Haven't listened to the music track, but really, 'waiting for the hurt to come'. ?

Waiting?

I just want a break from it from the renter-saver side, although it's difficult to get VI or other HPI closed minds, to understand we actually exist, as they bleat on about homeowner innocence - despite loads seeing now HPC risk and a future still one of HPI+++++ - that a market actually exists full of different viewpoints and actions..

Falling prices are a reason to get excited. HPC.

Marks: Declines are not a reason to get worried. Declines are a reason to get excited. The investing public like things better at high prices than at low prices.

Presenter: What? Can you explain?

MARKS: Well the public, people who and who don't understand how investing works like things, feel better at things when they're at high prices, and lose confidence as the price falls.
