Channel 4 News pointed out that most immigration this last year was from outside the EU. That suggests that British governments either cannot control any immigration from inside or outside the EU, or they deliberately choose not to control immigration. Pro-immigration Boris Johnson is not going to do anything for you you know. You're being taken for a ride big time.

Last year eu immigration was 270,000 and non eu was 277,000 - year ending December 2015. ONS figures.

Nobody's being taken for a ride - the options on that are pretty clear to see as well as the main parties politicians reliability (lack of) however if there's a Brexit then the UK has the choice of control in its own hands and UK votes will start to count again.

And in 20020 he will be out on his @rse ,now what can we do if we stay in the EU as it won`t be borris`s fault or any other UK politician for that matter ....look over there it`s their fault our hands are tied ,our system is not perfect but we would not have a referendum in the first place if it was not for the fact we have democracy

Thats what its all about

The numbers suggest half of it that they're unable to control, half of it that they're unwilling to, and having to distinguish probably makes the job harder. Anyway, the fact that the grossly irresponsible idiots currently in charge won't do anything about it isn't an argument for not removing one of the barriers to solving a problem, and it'll certainly remove their most convenient scapegoat.
