World Free Trade Zone

Recommended Posts

Free trade is easy - remove tariffs. Britain could set up the first World Free Trade Zone. If non tariff barriers are ignored a free trade agreement is very easy. Peru has far more free trade agreements than the EU. I have read one of theirs - it is very short. We can make a free trade zone for the World. We can change the World entirely!

WTO is almost just that very small tariffs IIRC 1-4% for foodstuffs /manufactured goods which are bilateral ,but it also has anti dumping regulations which are important to any nation with a manufacturing base

So basically the same as the WTO but with zero duties for all members. Anyone can join

Well the tariffs under WTO as far as i understand it are the default option ,i think they are negotiable to the lower side ...could be wrong on this and yes anyone can join if they are happy with the maximum tariffs imposed as a default
