Enjoyed that!

Loved the last bit about his landlord getting about a 1% return on his investment...providing nothing breaks.

Sometimes I get quite anxious about by status as a renter. Peter cuts rights right through the 'money down the drain ' BS. :)

1% is 1% more than BTL ll will be making in 2017.

When you break down 500k purchase price to 1k monthly rent payments, that's 500 months, that's a long time to pay you debt down.

It's amusing in a way, but the specuvestors keep on winning.

For all his renting at sake of those who make the bad bets on housing, QE/0.5%, then up and up again.

Even when it falls, stepped into protect the house gamblers.

Even decades later with some guy in early 30s with 4 BTLs, yesterday's paper considering buying more BTLs.... he's the victim, not the priced out families who are renting from him.

I've been watching YouTube videos on narcissistic personalities lately. Seems like this guy is a case in point and the press is enforcing it.
