Bottom End Of The Market

Just looked at the bottom end of the market for Northants and this is what I saw:

Northants:

Last 7 days.

last 5 pages: 43 listings

16 fails/drops. 37%.

What is your definition of the bottom of the market (2 bed 1920's terrace) or just price....

The last 5 pages of whatever s*8t is listed on rightmove.

Looking at the prices it's not a 50% nominal fall we need, it's a 70%.

Would be interested to see an example listing.

Northampton: Bridge St is wall-to-wall estate agents. Abington St is wall-to-wall tat shops. Massive Eastern Euro population. Unbelievably daft high house prices. Northampton is an "interesting" (depressing) case study.

Exaggerating... I know people working in Northampton who earn 15K a year...just at 1 one bed studio above a garage listed for 140K !!!!

You do the maths.

Under estimate rather than exaggeration.

No one has money for pubs now for one thing and the other issue is that the land the pubs is on is more valuable being turned into property

Virgin Money's turnover from credit cards is up 77% in a year ....no one has money that the cold hard truth
