Very Interesting Update From Estate Agent

Q: Have property prices now peaked??

Dear Home Owner

We thought that you may be interested to know that the current market for selling your home appears to have finally peaked! We have been achieving record sale prices for our vendors who have been enjoying asking price offers and more often than not, ABOVE the asking price. With the uncertainty of opting to leave the European Union or not, this may have an unstable effect on future record sale prices. Therefore if you have been thinking about moving this year, we consider this to be the perfect time to get you property on the market. After a long period of poor levels of housing stock for sale, there are now higher levels of available properties to choose from. Therefore the supply and demand effect will eventually bring the sale prices back down to a competitive level. If you would like to have an informal chat with us regarding what sale price your property could achieve now, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Yours sincerely

Has an EA ever advised a seller or buyer to wait?

No but the point is they are acknowledging:

1. Prices peaked

2. More supply in market

3. Prices will stabilise / go down to be more competitive
