Smallest Detached House In Cambridgeshire

Recommended Posts

This just bigger than my garden shed! The reason why the pictures are cropped so hard is to hide the fact that there is no chance of expanding it either.

I pass this every day on the bus. The bicycle and bed are props inserted by the seller who bought it from BT fairly recently. Nobody lives there - no windows for a start.

The p1ss has well and truly been taken.

I think another (larger) telephone exchange further up the a1 went to auction a few months back, guide 25k. No planning. This one appears to have got it on appeal. ALready a bed in there. shows the desperation for somewhere to live. I've noticed a number of places with people living in them with no permission coming up for sale.

heres an 'outbuilding'

my memory failed my. It was 60k. Truly palatial in comparison though..

Yes that one was sold to a local who has put a mobile classroom in the woods next to it, built a carpark, installed a septic tank and intends to open as a nursery. They won't be using the telephone exchange bit for the kids though. I had thought of buying it as a workshop but the price put me off. I guess with the extra land it has it was always going to get pricy - not that anyone would want a house that close to the A1M. The noise is horrendous and never stops.
