Actually, I'll counter with this:

My daughter showed this to me, she had snot running down her face she was laughing so hard.....

No problems. I can guarantee that I will not hassle them.

'To do that, the Arts Council-funded boat is going to spend two years travelling around Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and West Yorkshire, working with women's groups where it moors and housing seven artists-in-residence along the way.'

You wonder why we're skint.

What's even funnier is the market is back to where it was this morning and the MPC rate decision moved it a whole 7 points.

The title should really be "FTSE100 completely unaffected by interest rate decision"

The word 'Women' is used THIRTY ONE times in that single article. Yes - 31 times.

Little bit self obsessed are these utter tools ?

They give decent burds a bad name.

Time for a 'men only arts centre' or narrowboat?!

What about the stripper? Gotta have an exception for that. And a serving wench.

Maybe they have a point? Men bad! Down with men!

"We toyed with it for a while, took a trip on a friend's narrow boat and realised the canals were an extremely male-dominated space

This is total ******** for start.

50% of the canal folk I talked to this morning on the dog walk were women.

But I can imagine many cases wher men have been thrown of their living space and having to resort to canal living whilst their ex partner / wife / whatever lives under a fixed roof.

The bit about women doing all the heavy labour during the war is made up too.

Women did go into industry for sure, but certain reserved occupations gave a man an exemption from being called up because he was needed to keep things running. My uncle Reg was a railway man and so wasn't called up.
