since 6/4 off 5% 10% ?

how does this compare to 1990 ?

US has started down 6/5 picking up speed

Assuming that by "6/4" you mean June 2004, prices are up by 7.1% since then (ODPM index, £173,756 in June 04, £186,103 in October 05). Don't believe everything you read on this forum.

Not acording to Hometrack though....

Average house prices have suffered their first annual fall in 10 years, according to the latest survey by Hometrack, the housing analyst. It said that house prices across England and Wales fell by 1.29 per cent in 2005. It added that the average price had fallen by 4.17 per cent since the market turned in June last year.

Hometrack - Daily Telegraph 21/12/05

Hope it helps
