Whitelands Park, Putney, Sw15

Recommended Posts

I went to the opening of this development early this year.

Very nice, better than average development.

Walk around in little slippers so you don't dirty the carpet.

They were asking £420k for a 2 bed flat in March, well now they're asking £370 for a 2 bed flat.

Thats down 12% in 9 months.

They're also offering £52k "incentives". This is now being advertised. They don't want to keep it a secret.

Can I call that 24% down in 9 months?

I guess that depends on how well you negotiate.

These are slightly better than the usual "luxury" apartments, the area is nice, good links to the A3, tube stations within a reasonable walk, although this is the District line, so expect delays, breakdowns and overcrowding. There are no decent shops nearby, but Wimbledon and Putney are easily accessible.

There is even parking for guests, that must be a first in this town!

But sadly it doesn't look like they're selling too fast.

Interesting. Yes we've thought about visiting these 'units' but decided they are just too badly located and too modern for us. But they've had so much marketing - been in the Sunday Time property section adverts every week since the launch. Must have cost them an arm and a leg, there's been plenty of other marketing too and they still can't shift them.

Be interesting to see how long it takes to get rid of all of them
