Propery Porn Pin Up Boy Phil Spencer & St Mungo’S Homeless Charity- It's Wrong

Recommended Posts

Last Friday, I was driving on the M6 past stoke listening to a sycophantic local bbc radio station.

Phil Spencer came on, talking about his work with St Mungo’s Homeless Charity.

I thought that one major reason we have high levels of homelessness, (a lot hidden, like sofa surfing)

is due to criminally high house & rent prices.

These prices are fuelled, in a major part by the unhealthy British obsession with property, and a multi property owning media & celebrity cartel, that hardly ever questions this madness of unaffordable shelter.

Given the above, I was thinking of writing to St Mungo's, saying I think it's wholly wrong that a propery porn pin up boy like Phil Spencer, having been on LLL for 16 yrs, should be heading up a campaign on homelessness.

I encourage others to do the same on link below

Arguably & allegedly, such celebrites contribute to increasing homelessness by encouraging, mentally unhealthy property obsession, high house prices & rents via BTL etc.

Should never allow a bankrupt anywhere near a charity. Should pay their debts first.

Valid general point, but worth pointing out that it was his old firm Garrington Home Finders ltd that was liquidated, not him personally . The firm was 'resurrected'

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Spencer The company entered into liquidation in early 2009, a victim of the credit crunch that followed the financial crisis of 2007–2008.[5] It was eventually saved by one of Spencer's former office managers.
