Following todays introduction of the boomer tax surcharge on anyone born between 01/04/1945 and 01/04/1965 to fund the new living wage, the coming year will see government consultations with other age groups to look at how further surcharges on this age group could be used going forward. Suggestions so far include aditional taxes to fund IPad upgrades for the under 40's, MacDonalds vouchers for hardworking families and Bingo club membership for the over 70's. In an additional measure, anyone of the Boomer generation will be offered a place on a government re eductation programme with a view to removing any 1960's influences and install loyalty to the British way of life. The syllabus will include musical appreciation ( the works of Oasis and Madonna), nutrition ( how to locate the nearest takeaway), housing ( how to apply for a 125% mortgage) and problem solving ( how to scapegoat minority groups). The proposals have been approved by the EU but UKIP as the mouthpiece of the boomer generation have said they will be scrapped following Brexit.

All great ideas! I think bingo tax should double. Dirty old boomers gambling away in dark smokey dingy halls.

I think everyone who lived during the seventies should be taxed for not stopping Jimmy Saville.

And this poor young chap felt especially threatened playing with boomers...so I reckon you and the OP may have a point about special reparations for bingo players.
