Rip Property Market

Recommended Posts

I've got a large search area covering a signficant part of North Derbyshire, West Yorkshire and Tameside, consisting of tens of thousands properties.

This time 2 years ago I was getting an average of 2-3 Rightmove alerts a day for newly listed properties that matched my criteria (2 beds, upto £115k)

I'm now not even getting 1 alert a week.

The market is to all intents and purposes now officially dead.

£115k for a 2 bed? The boomers can't give them away you know! Increase the amount to £300k and decrease the beds to 1.

Agree, isn't this just a sign that the available properties have moved to prices above your budget?
