Can Anyone Tell Me Anything About What Its Like To Buy In Malta Please?

Recommended Posts

Would be interested an very appreciative to find out from anyone who has actually bought property in Malta their opinion of the experience? Was it tough as in having to keep an eye out if you're a foreigner?

I bought a property a couple of years ago. All went very smoothly.

Dustmen come 7 days a week & no council tax or rates! What's not to like.

Having lived in Malta and rented extremely cheap 1- 2% of purchase price. I would not bother buying. Rent first and if you still love island living after 5 years then buy.

Was in Gozo last year talking to some locals I know, they said if your face fitted you could rent a one bed appartment in Marsalforn starting from 2,000 euros a year....
