Pound Could Crash By 20Pc If Uk Votes For Brexit, Warns Goldman Sachs

Recommended Posts

Also given that the UK doesn't need to import any of the essentials it will have no effect on living standards.

So it'll boost our manufacturing sector too as we start producing more of our own products. How terrible.

Yes, because everything else always remains equal. In that instance it would create opportunities for more 'in house' supply to develop.

If the pound crashing is a problem, we could put up interest rates.

Will make our exports more competitive......... Next....

Which is what we are told all the time (including cheap migrant labour) is what is necessary.

No mention EVER of a hugely inflated cost base for companies and employees thanks to successive ponzi housing/land/debt policies.

If you ever needed any confirmation on what is probably best for your own long term future doing the opposite of what golden scum suggest is prudent.

For sure the squid will be able to arrange some more off balance sheet loans to tide the UK over any difficult spots.

Other than that if the squid's against leaving then that sounds like the best reason of all to leave.

Plan A = uncontrolled mass immigration + the privatisation & subdivision of UK housing stock.

Naturally, Goldman Squid endorse it. It puts an ever greater share of the national output into the hands of rentiers and bankers!!

Carney is a Squid placeman after all.

Uncontrolled mass immigration very much in the interests of Squid, boomers and banks, anybody with large balance sheets based on UK assets.

Curiously boomers are being a bit altruistic and want Brexit, college students meanwhile are turkeys voting for Christmas, want unlimited immigration with resulting fight for property and wage deflation. You couldn't make it up.

Shows that people don't generally think these things through.

To be fair, EU migration is supposed to be a two-way street. Young people might find better opportunities in Sweden or Germany or Latvia.

Pity that London is the biggest financial black hole on the planet, ruthlessly sucking in all opportunity and all investment. Pity that as a monolingual UK native, failed by an education system which treats foreign languages as an optional extra, and surrounded by English-language media, you're at at a distinct disadvantage in the globalised job market.

Actually you're not. It's impossible to learn all the languages. I've done business in over 40 countries and never been expected to talk in anything other than English.

English is the the language of business.

Where having the local language helps is the social and coffee break conversations - you will always be an outsider if you can't cht with the locals. But, let's say you're english, and want to learn another langauge for that purpose, what is the probability you will pick the language of the place you are going to work in years in advance ?

Answer, practically zero.

The best thing to do is when you move to a new place try to integrate ASAP by learning the language on the job and taking crash courses.

Wait until the concerted governbankment propaganda starts nearer the time (if we have a referendum) about a Brexit causing their house prices to drop. We all know the voting demographics.

See it all the time: students just see an opportunity to prove their "multi-kulti" open-minded, everyones-the-same-under-a-beautiful-rainbow, look-at-me-with-flowers-in-my-hair credentials. Any other position on the matter makes a student look like Nick Griffin. Owen Jones seems to embody this type of person - mass immigration is wonderful because to say otherwise is extremely racist, yet he can't wrap his head around the idea that mass immigration is a tool of the establishment (which he is apparently against).
