The one, the only MP to respond to any poking on HTB/The london bubble.

He's in opposition, his job is to oppose.

That's the easy part for MPs. The hard part, where they always fail, is what they do when they actually have the chance to do something about it.

Brandon Lewis, MP for Great Yarmouth who once said 'We should build more bungalows'. And then opposed a local housing association's scheme to redevelop a plot in the town that included bungalows.

Kucfing hyppocrite!

I visited Great Yarmouth on Wednesday. It looks more of a 'Labour' town. Heavens knows where the Tory voters lurk from.

I'm finding this new concept of a decent MP hard to believe.

How do you know why he retweeted it? Maybe he likes a housing bubble and thought it was good advertising? Particularly your plebs -£10 and FTB +£10k when prices rise. I did say you should work for the governbankment, making house prices rises so profitable and owning so aspirational.

+1

If the conservatives had been in opposition they would be saying the same sort of stuff as him about the Labour version of HtB.

Unfortunately with the LibLabCon British people are always between a rock and a hard place.

In the meantime average living standards in Britain grind remorselessy downwards relative to other developed countries - mainly due to housing policies and house prices and related issues but also due to general incompetence and greed.
