MrPin
CDS don't last forever. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/cds-truth-cddvd-longevity-mold-rot/ I've only had one CD go bad! It was quite old.
200p
I had a DVD go bad - it started to flake inside.
Riedquat
The media tray was originally constructed of a flexible black polystyrene, but many newer trays use a more fragile transparent polystyrene. Got a few like that, they're rather less prone to disintegrating and having the CD rattle around in the box. I've also had a number of broken hinges, a pity that lesson wasn't learned from cassette boxes which also seemed prone to them, even if not quite as much. happy_renting
CD cases aren't quite square. Presumably CDs are supposed to be elliptical.
Fully Detached
I thought this was going to be a thread about transvestites. Disappointing.
DTMark
Please don't say you are listening to mp3 files, otherwise I'll have to set DTmark onto you! I have a fair few MP3 files on my computer which are OK through the mediocre headphones I have which are used for audiobooks and when sat in front of the computer late at night like now. After a vodka or two anything sounds great
