300 People Camp Out In Cold Weather To Buy 29 Homes

Recommended Posts

This is why I can't see a HPC in the near future. What is going to make these people suddenly decide they no longer want to buy a home?

The fact every month they wait the cheaper it gets.

It isn't the desire to own a home that needs dealing with.

It's the tricks, plots, schemes, scams and tinkering and perpetual state meddling that makes it so expensive which need removing.

The cult of property.

Drives folk to stand out in cold for the opportunity to take on a pokey flat.

Any psychologists care to comment on this British phenomenon?

Or is it one alluded to, just marketing full of (paid) shills.

Falling prices beget falling prices.

Subspace has just posted the post of 2016. I forecast it will not be beaten.

Oh right...you mean the one just above....My sarcasm detector was switched off today.

Well, it's better than me saying you could buy 4 or 5 2-bed apartments next to the beach outright (for that money) - doesn't quite have the impact as the above image! :D

I thought foreigners couldnt buy in Thailand....

My thoughts exactly. Does anyone know how much these developers pay the local tag each month for advertising? Can anyone find any of these people online? The whole story is blatantly made-up.

So did I.

You can't officially in Indonesia either. A very well heeled relative of Mr B's has had a huge villa built in Bali, but they had to have a local 'partner'. The place is rented out for a minimum of $5000 a night.

I have never asked what would happen if the partner decided to be 'difficult'...

According to the anarchist types on here, nobody would deal with him again and he would jolly well learn his lesson.
