No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but police said terror group Islamic State had issued a cryptic warning before the assault, saying, "there will be a concert in Indonesia and it will be international news".

Starbucks said one customer was injured and treated at the scene, and confirmed all its employees were safe and that it was closing all its branches in the city until further notice.

If it takes 5 of the tw@ts to kill 7 in one of the most populous countries on the planet, they might as well chuck it in now!

I'm liking these useless terrorists.

There was that one who got himself shot by waving a sword at a police station in Paris and then we had our homegrown spanner jihadist who managed to blow himself up in an Exeter restaurant toilet.

Alan Snackbar!!!

A Muslim convert has been jailed for life and must serve a minimum of 18 years after launching a failed suicide bomb attack on a restaurant in Devon.

Nicky Reilly, 22, was the only person injured when he accidentally set off his home-made nail-bomb in a toilet of Exeter's Giraffe restaurant last May.
He later admitted attempted murder and preparing an act of terrorism.
Police believe the Plymouth man, who has learning difficulties, was encouraged by extremists in Pakistan

Are white muslim converts more likely to get arrested and put on trial?

They are when they're as thick as this bloke or the hug a Muslim guy who then sent twitter death threats.

The numbers of victims in this attack was not made clear at all in the immediate aftermath.

They are:

4 killed.

20 wounded.

+4 terrorists killed.

this and the burkina faso attack didn't get that much publicity really, must admit I kind of groaned in a resigned way when I heard about it.

What would have previously shocked us is now all too regular :(
