Farage Tv Debate With Welsh Assembly Leader

Recommended Posts

Nigel Farage was in a TV debate last night with the Welsh Assembly leader Carwyn Greyperson.

I did not watch it but the pro Labour Welsh media say that Farage wiped the floor with the Assembly leader.

You can watch a video of the debate below:

Carwyn's only argument seems to be based on the belief that all trade with the EU member states ceases if we were to leave the EU.

Just watched it, pretty much sums it up.

The stay in campaign's main argument seems to be that we don't know what will happen if we leave, so we should stay in because we know what that's like.

Only caught the end of it when the welsh guy said something along the lines of 'if we leave the EU the poles will think we hate them' or thereabouts.

To which Farage rightly reminded him there are sucessionist movements throughout europe, including in Poland.

Maybe this Labour moron has been asleep the last few months, but a not inconsiderable majority of Poles just voted in a soundly euroskeptic leaning government.

What Saint Nigel of Immigrant Ancestry BSE CJD and his acolytes seem to forget is that the EU doesn't have to play happy families with the UK. They might do with trade, but with anything else they don't have to.

Seriously, if I was the leader of France, British border agency staff would be ordered out of France, policing of routes to channel ports would be reduced and maybe a compensation policy established should a boat be "stolen" by migrants. What would I have to lose? Nothing, especially if I could get the immigrants on the first ferry to Britain.

What'll Britain do? Send out the flagship HMS fetid leaky rowing boat, armed with a fully complement of soggy paper planes?

It truly depresses me how people who seem to question everything when it comes to house prices and politicians don't question UKIP or St. Nigel of Farage (and oh so conveniently forget about his BTL LL prophet of housing policy). Good grief they'll be saying next how our HPI rentier QE economy (that is slagged off normally) is so big and powerful and important.

Mr Jones should be thankful Farage`s researchers/advisers are shit when it comes to Wales ,Farage won convincingly but if he knew half of it he would have torn Carwyn Jones apart

Ha, what kind of stuff are you refering to? Have the Germans EU singled out Wales for Flüchtlinge dispersion, owing to its hideously inbred population (JOKE) or something?

The UK Border Agency had a staff of 23,500 people located in over 130 countries. Overseas staff vetted visa applications and operated an intelligence and liaison network, acting as the first layer of border control for the UK.

Firstly I would say that throwing staff out is unlikely to happen, given 130 countries (obviously most of whom are outside the EU) don't seem to mind British staff stationed there.

Secondly I would say, if it did happen, would it even matter, given France seems to be where most illegals sneak in, and thats with UK staff already there.

But keep scaremongering...i've noticed empty threats are pretty much all the EU has, nothing positive, no vision, just do as we say or the skies will fall... (which to be fair has worked with the Greeks, Irish etc etc.) Next you'll be suggesting the French, overcome with hatred for us will blockade shipping routes until we are starved into submission.

Mostly the companies that would no be here if we were not in the EU, angle ,the money that's been thrown at these companies as "Incentives " is the reason they are here plus the lower wage Ford engine plant just received a £13m incentive.

The waste of public money in Wales is beyond belief to the point of it being criminal the Tafia was never meant as a joke

This is tiny in comparison http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-north-east-wales-14394553 but it shows the incompedence

The company actually received over £2m in grants and no one knows who signed those grants off, part of the criteria for receiving those grants were from the green Incentives scheme i.e they were replacing fish meal (made from our diminishing fish stocks the green bit ) used in trout/salmon farms with freeze dried ragworm pellets.

It sounds good in theory until you find out that they feed up the ragworm with you guessed it fish meal the exact same pellets they feed the salmon or trout

They were also claiming to breed the ragworm ,they never breed a single worn they were and still are imported from Holland as juveniles then fattened up

they have not recovered a single penny

The list goes on and on "valley wood" is an interesting one made one film ? cost of building the place range from 100m to 400m no one knows again

This is absolutely the key point - The yes brigade have absolutely nothing positive to offer. The argument is simply we have to stay in or Britain will implode. Well go and take a look out of the window. We're perfectly capable of imploding with or without Europe. I'd rather do it without and not be dictated to by people of nationalities who have wanted to conquer us for 2 thousand years.

Well from the debate the most pertinent question from the audience IMO was , I see confidence on one side and none on the other why do the current government have no confidence in running the country for it`s own benefit outside of the EU ...or words to that effect

Like you say the opposition have only negative arguments based on assumptions...i've yet to hear a convincing positive argument for staying that can not be blown out of the water

I can`t see a problem with that UK ports are pretty secure and could be made more secure with out much of a problem ,just escort them all back onboard and send them back

The option of stealing a boat is open to them now but very few use it
