Nah. It was obviously some oldies who had bought the furniture when it was originally popular and kept it. You can tell from the pink bathroom suite.

Nearly a quarter million British pounds for a place that makes a bus shelter palatial. Either the OP, or Vender, or EA is taking the pi55.

I'm seeing it myself, there are grotty areas where some people are now asking the same or more than in the (overpriced) nicer areas.

But I reckon there could be something else going on as well as the usual greed - a consequence of MMR. The sellers probably want out of this area, but they maxed themselves out on the original mortgage (probably bought at peak), now they can't get the 95% x6 mortgage that they got last time so need to sell for stupid money. No sympathy really, they probably are the sort who prattled on about missing the boat.
