In an act of defiance, the US business mogul has warned he will not put any more money into his two Scots golf courses if he is barred from entering the UK.The Trump Organisation issued the warning after a date was set for Westminster MPs to debate whether or not the tycoon should be allowed back into Britain. The debate, which will take place on 18 January at Westminster Hall, was sparked after more than half a million people signed a petition calling for Mr Trump to be banned from the UK, following inflammatory remarks he made

Mrs Bear
Meanwhile Saudi ministers are welcomed with open arms. 'Be sure to keep tight hold of Nurse For fear of finding something worse.' The devil you know, and all that... If the Saudi monarchy were overthrown, what do you think would replace it? I sincerely hope Trump will not be banned. If he did ever come, he would damn himself with his own mouth, not to mention his barnet.
geezer466
It would never happen.... The left can froth up as much as they like but banning someone influential like Trump because of their POV is not going to happen. His is streets ahead in the polls for the republican nomination, but there is a way to go yet.... Some choice the US will have.. Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. thecrashingisles
We'll also have to ban the President of France and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands at the rate we're going.
AThirdWay
Banning someone because he called for the banning of someone else..... I don't see the logic. Bring him over, let's have a laugh at him. Let's get him, Farage and Boris on an episode of HIGNFY
Frank Hovis
The devil you know, and all that... If the Saudi monarchy were overthrown, what do you think would replace it? Iranian-backed forces from the Eastern province, as is happening in Yemen.

billybong
It's amusing that the reason given for the petition is him asking for some people to be banned from entering the US is hate speech. So they demand he be banned from the UK.

So they demand he be banned from the UK. That is ironic. So Trump now has every right to ask for all the people that signed this petition to be banned from the US. Fair is fair. MrPin
Meanwhile Saudi ministers are welcomed with open arms. They are good arms buyers, and add to the exchequer! Oddly Sadam was too, for some years!
Oh Well :(
Trump is not advocating killing anyone as far as I know. There are plenty that are far higher up the ban list. The Saudi Royals would be fairly near the top.
lulu
Meanwhile Saudi ministers are welcomed with open arms. As well as any number of Saudi sponsored preachers, they probably have community sponsored travel expenses all paid for from government funds. So they demand he be banned from the UK. The UK is a strong, powerful nation that can overcome any odds. We're a tough people who thrive in adversary. Except when an old man with funny hair says things that upset a few people. That could destroy the country.
