I can't understand how this small group of vociferous HPI happy clappers and BTLers have been allowed to effectively take over certain boards on a forum that is supposed to be aimed at offering genuine financial help, advice and support.

All this group of individuals do is self congragulate each other and brag about how much capital growth and rental returns they've ''earned'' whilst rubbing everyone elses noses in it and trotting out the usual boomer cliches about how hard they worked to get where they are today and how all the younger generations are just lazy and feckless.

I don't much like the place.

It's basically a consumer forum, tenants rights need to be looked after not BTL LLs. It's not somewhere for BTL LLs to discuss saving money with regards to the service they offer their customers. They'd soon run crying to mummy martin if people from their mortgage provider did the same.

Add to that small "businessmen" on ebay/amazon, fair enough discussing problems with ebay or couriers as they are customers of them, but they also discuss THEIR own customers.

It's another symptom of the hypocrisy of the great british pubelick...
