True, but Germany is better with so called "socialism," stablising their housing stock.

That marxist paper, the Financial Times, said as much.

Right, but the political establishment have zero interest in allowing market forces to lower housing costs and will continue to have zero interest until homeowners become a minority of the UK electorate at some point in the 2020s. Rent caps are not a good solution but unlike "#bringbackcapitalism" they might actually happen in the next 5-10 years so I can see why people are campaigning for them.

Germany had a war on wages for a decade.

Berlin prices soaring last few years. Wages rising. As is lending..
