mrtickle
Yes, and Cameron is refusing to back him. His time is finally up. National scandal, sadly involving a tragic death. Let's get Michael Crick on the case...

“Nasty Piece of work”
An oily toad, and polished turd - it will be interesting to see how far this goes, and whether he was demoted soon enough to create distance.
Snugglybear
Perhaps Shapps has proved an embarassment to the Tory party managers once too often. So it's not just the bullying scandal, it's Michael Green as well. (And I'm choosing my words advisedly - to many in any party machine, the main concern with regard to any tragedy is the fallout for the party. richc
The Telegraph have now changed the title of their article to say that he has resigned. This guy is such an obvious low-life. What does he have on Cameron that ever got him into a position of power? Are we now going to see the photos of Cameron having sex with the pig? Bruce Banner
Given Shapps' prominent role in the last election campaign, would it not be correct to annul the result and call a new General Election?
DarkHorseWaits-NoMore
Seems a lot of Camoron's close friends and advisors turn out to be dirty, end up doing a stretch or have to leave the country until the dust to settles. Hmm, is there a connection...
mrtickle
Given Shapps' prominent role in the last election campaign, would it not be correct to annul the result and call a new General Election? Of course not. That's ludicrous. A by-election for just his seat, maybe. In the past an MP would have resigned his seat, but we all know that Green doesn't have the sense of morals to do so. Guest_northshore_*
Certainly a tit but as housing minister from 2010-12 he at least saw fit to add nothing on demand side and prices were pretty stable, unlike every successor.

CunningPlan
This won't win me any friends but years ago I used to do a lot of work with Printhouse Corporation and Grant was actually one of my more decent clients. Maybe he has changed with time but he was a genuinely good guy to do business with.
