Face To Face With The Home Owner

Recommended Posts

So here it is..

we are all a little interested in homes and home ownership..

But when you face a young person who owns a home..

What is it that you first think..?

Are you cynical, insulted, jealous.. ?

are you scared for them or by them...>?

I have tried to cover the bases..

Be honest..

What about: "It must be nice to have such rich parents!"

or

"I can't believe you would put your wife on the game just to avoid renting!"

Or good move.. you are going to make a killing..

But there you go..

There is one that I would like to see win.

It explains the market and a realistic view of it..

Really just seeing if that one can win..

I hope it can.

I won't say which it was..

Honestly, the top choice from those options is I'm jealous.

The real top choice for me would be 'Boy, you're just totally out of touch!'

The majority of home owners have no clue how far out of reach even crummy little flats are. Why should they I suppose?

Edit: Doh! another read failure - you said YOUNG home owner. I would change my vote to the how much and when option - subtext - are you screwed or aren't you.
