Rightmove Asking Price Trendometer

Recommended Posts

The data is whore's shyte, it is only a matter of days since I noticed a 2 bed semi on at £3.4M, rather than the Space Cadet £340K.

Fit for Jeremy Vine, or the Express.

+1

you'll fit in well round here.

I'm getting more and more convinced pplman is a professional troll.

South Wales Jun 05 Jul 15 =3.6 % rise ...now we know why Dr Ros`es blood is boiling...double every 7 years :lol::lol::lol::lol:

It's even more of a hoot if you compare August 2007 with July 2015 = 6..2% fall.

Admittedly, South Wales is a hugely varied area. Compare a Victorian terrace in Merthyr or Llanelli with one in Pontcanna/Llandaff or Cowbridge or Monmouth.

What's the answer? The people in Merthyr and Llanelli are nicer?

We all know that the data is largely meaningless - as specifically mentioned in the OP

I posted separately on the land reg thread with the only other robust source of data - HMRC, it has residential transaction volumes up 5.4% year on year.

As for being paid to post: Maybe I am a self employed internet forum troll. 16 hours posting online a week and I get £400 a week in tax credits and a rent paid house

Its not bad.
