Hidden £5Bn Tax Raid To Hit Six Million Workers From Next April

Recommended Posts

  • Around one million private sector workers and 5.4million in the public sector are facing a surprise rise in their National Insurance contributions
  • Workers who earn £25,000 will have to pay an extra £267.80 a year
  • Those on £50,000 a year will have to cough up an extra £478.92
  • Increase is a consequence of the introduction of the new state pension

Well I'm sure this will help cut the deficit and fund the pension system.

Only applies to those with generous DB pension rights so I won't cry for them too much.

Are you sure? What about those contracted out while also funding their own pensions?
