House price rises sped up in July, says Nationwide

The use of words is interesting shameful

The pace of increase in UK house prices accelerated in July, rising by 3.5% compared with a year earlier, according to the Nationwide

The government ( labour and tories ) have done their bit for their banker masters.

They have got prices up to 2007 averages and now want to try and keep them there.

You and I are nothing but banker slaves now.

The only way to avoid this, sadly, is to leave.

Where would one go?

And when?

Would one intend to come back?

Lol at the deposit amount and no. of bedrooms!

Should be getting 5 bedrooms cash for the same deposit amount in the south and an entire cul-de-sac street in some other areas!

Note the intentional use of the phrase cul-de-sac...........bottom/ar5e/butt/fanny of the bag.

I put in a £10k deposit and £400 a month to buy.Thats the inflation adjusted total and 5 deposit from when i bought my 3 bed semi back in 93.

It seems to only place i could now buy within 100 miles would be in Hartlepool.

My kids are entering the age to buy,and i dont fancy sending them to Hartlepool.

Are they sure about all of Cornwall being in the affordable bracket?

I think, maybe, they mean, it's affordable to London spivs and public sector leeches.

No one else matters

Meanwhile an MP based on a 3 times salary could "afford" to live here in Northampton:

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Affordable, maybe, value, NO, over-priced and due for a correction, without a doubt.
