More On Green Infrastructure Quantitive Easing

Recommended Posts

I looked over the green manifesto a couple of months back.

Basically nothing on trade policy (not surprising i guess, given so long as we are in the EU we arent allowed to have one)

Anyway, until they tackle that, they cannot claim to care about carbon emissions. The only result of green legislation in the UK is to shift production and emissions to the far east and south asia.

Lets be clear here. They are not a green party. They are a communist party that is using the green label as the label 'communist' is toxic.

Who's going to pay for that then.

Basically let's print money as in normal QE but instead of just stuffing bankers' pockets and fuelling an asset boom instead spend it on a massive programme of insulating houses, fitting them with solar panels, and building more, with a resulting surge in jobs and people trained in useful, engineering/building jobs rather than parasitical financial/services jobs.

I would have thought that was music to HPC ears?

Fine by me. Anything to get rid of 1000 years of rentier feudalism (with a very thin veneer of 'capitalism' for the little people)
