Inflation Down, Rates Down What Now?

Recommended Posts

Is there a chance that regardless of rates and inflation people left out of the market will simply say, "No I'm not paying that price" ?

I feel an acceptance that stagnation is a distinct possibility. Even the US looks like they will start to curb rates!

Anyone fancy a trip to Witts End? :(

As I see it, as long as you can wait with your house purcase (most of us really can), there is no need for being unhappy. I believe that low interest rates will contribute to a stronger construction activity and thus a better supply of housing in the longer run. Better appartments will be cheaper in the future, and the lower the interesst rates and other construction costs, the better and cheaper they will eventually be. However we might have to wait a while. So use youre time to chek out different rentals, cheep ones and expensive ones. Then you have better information on your preferences when you eventually get your bargain on a forced sale after the houspricecrash.. :D
