Living And Working In Ireland

Recommended Posts

Can anyone with any experience tell me what its like living and working in Ireland (Republic of) assuming you move there for a decent(ish) job.

How much is a decent salary there?

How far does money go?

What's the life like outside of the main cities?

How easy is it to take your car across semi-permanently?

Thanks

I'd be interested to know as well. Been watching a few places on Daft for 3-4 years now, have my own business so can work anywhere with power, internet and courier services. The alternative is starting to feel like growing old here renting. :(

I love it in Ireland County Tipperary is my area of experience. Good horse racing racetrack there.

I am in the process of obtaining an Irish passport as i can claim citizenship.

It's like england 20yrs ago

It's an EU country, but even before that UK citizens were allowed to reside in Ireland, and vice versa.

I guess the Irish passport is more interesting.
