BT’s Outsourcing To India To Cost 886 Uk Jobs

Up to 886 employees with ClientLogic in Derby and Bristol stand to lose their jobs after BT awarded a major Broadband Support Business contract to a rival supplier in India, Communication Workers’ Union assistant secretary Sally Bridge said today.

Ms Bridge said ClientLogic has advised the union that BT’s decision to award the contract to HCL in India would cause up to 582 redundancies in Derby and up to 304 in Bristol.
