3 Main Parties Housing Promises Dissected By Nearly Legal

Recommended Posts

Interesting about the break clause after 6 months - either holes the policy or perhaps deemed too short a period for it to be worth it for Landlords.

I really don't understand the RTB - local councils are meant to fund the discount in the price ?!

Interesting that "Nearly Legal" in the analysis seemingly makes no attempt to estimate the number of new homes "promised" to be built in the next few years in the various manifestos or where there might be differences. They only seem to consider the impact on stuff like right to buy and rentals and suchlike and the practicality/legal implications.

They must be assuming that the number of new homes built will be identical no matter which party or combination of parties gets in - or that the number of new homes built is irrelevant..
