Lots Of New Builds Coming To Market

Recommended Posts

Guest

My rightmove search is only for pre-owned homes, so my email alerts don't include new homes.

However, today out of interest I ran the search just for new builds .... there's loads! I'm not going to buy one, but nice to see the volumes of properties coming onto the market. The builder's must be shi**ing bricks (or bricking sh*ts).

In Maidstone when one makes enquiries they seem to be selling alot off-plan. I have presumed it is the delayed supply response. Last time in 2008 I remember sites being mothballed. They were finished I think Iin 2012

No new 'big' developments in my immediate area (ie 50 homes or more), but dozens of small developments of 1-10 homes...perfectly timed for the imminent crash... a lot of smaller developers built in 2006/7...they should have gone bust then...probably the same developers in many cases.
