at 4200 sq ft, my guestimate would be its now down to around 2007+10% prices.
It really does look like that rush to sell those top end house has fallen flat. It's not the houses between £250K-£500K that need to plummet, i.e. the house 2nd steppers ( people with famillies ) need to be able to afford to buiy whilst affording to live.

That thatched cottage is lovely.... but the people who bought obviously didn't pay £800k for it! The interior is car boot 70s cottage style. Ignoring the size of the plot (can't be fagged to read it that closely) I'd give you £200k for the house, That roof and that structure gonna be a killer to maintain and heat though. Maybe £175k.

I dont know that area at all but that is a massive and beautiful plot of land and house. You would struggle to get a terraced house in london for that sort of money !

Here's mine.

Then relisted at http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-50205143.html

£175k down. Now they're trying "fixed price" presumably negative equity starts there. It's still overpriced though :D

They really ought to tell the other agents.

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-48164137.html

But it's a relative bargain in comparison to the one down the road. From £325K in 2011 to £1,295,000

Well they did rebuild it :D I can't see it selling for more than £800k though. If you want a laugh, check the asking price on this monstrosity: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/new-homes-for-sale/property-46778032.html

I've been watching another property that cannot seem to sell. It's been reduced from £950 to £800k. They bought it for £735k in 2006 - will they hit negative equity?
