If you try to think of the worst places to be trapped in for all time then UK bus stations must rank high on the list. I worked in Greenwich Council Housing for a short spell in the 90s. Ferrier was the 'jewel' in a particularly competitive crown IMHO. It is but has been completely transformed by the addition of some garishly coloured exterior panels. That picture is certainly no worse than a run down Victorian street for me. I find the scale and clean lines majestic when done well. The national theatre is a fabulously beautiful example.
