China Becomes Net Exporter Of Pvc. Bubble Has Popped

Recommended Posts

Every time I read about house price drops in other countries, I look for the regional breakdown and never find it. It is some good news yes, but recall 2008 here in the UK? I was waiting for the price drops in London and in the areas I wanted to buy, but nothing. Prices were static at best. We know why, government props, but the point is that the rest of the country dropped a lot and the UK average fell, but that made no difference to my ability to buy in the areas I actually wanted to.

I'm wondering how Kong Kong, Beijing look?

Apparently 50% of PVC is used in the construction industry.

The other implication is for the amount of oil/gas being consumed globally.

PVC is "a key product for the property industry due to its use in windows, cables, pipes and other applications"
