Sarah Brightman to perform Lloyd Webber song in space

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-31813632

Sarah Brightman has been working with her former husband Andrew Lloyd Webber on a song she can perform in space.

The British soprano, who is training at Star City near Moscow, is due to blast off on a Russian Soyuz craft on 1 September.

I really, really hope the Russians switch to an air/helium mixture for the mission.

Surely when you're up there you want to stare at the view. Not sit down and have somebody sing at you.

No disrespect to Sarah, perfectly good singer.

For a while c. 2007 she was quite foxy in a curvy farmer's wife kind of way.

No, I don't think even the farmers round here would be impressed ...

Update:

Brightman will be singing 'Don't Cry for me Argentina' whilst orbiting above the Argentine, wearing a rubber Jeremy Clarkson mask.

Isn't it 'Don't cry for me Arg and Tina' whilst orbiting above Essex?

Not withstanding the fact that Sarah Brightman looks very young post op, can she really only be 51. I'm coming up to 51, trouble is when Starship trooper came out I was only 14 or 15 !

edit. ah I see 54 in the OP link...that makes more sense.
