Rising House Prices Causing More Will Disputes

Recommended Posts

Always seems to me that some people seem to plan their life's around getting some sort of inheritance! I wouldn't care if inheritance tax went up to 100% and no-one got any free handouts. I certainly haven't planned on getting any (although, I think my siblings are planning their lives around it  ). Maybe parents should just spend their money on their kids (or whoever they want to) while they are alive!

Neither would I, if inheritance wasn't necessary, because the existing tax take in all forms is too much.

Where do you propose confiscated wealth of the deceased gets sent?

To the government of the day, of course! They really need it! :P

I agree that all taxes are too high and frankly requires complete reform. Would be nice if they got rid of income tax for a start!

But what is really needed is a complete change of the monetary system, so that it is not under the control private banks! If we had money which was created free from debt then perhaps we would really have a chance to get rid of some of the most unfair inequalities in society.

I will never set foot in a church for several reasons, unless not to do so would upset someone.

One is due to my Aunt.

Devout Christian, not just a churchgoer.

When she died, she left £1000.00 to the vicar.

Not to the church but to the vicar.

That was fine.

It wasn't fine when the vicar contacted the executor to say that there must have been some mistake as he always thought he would be left £10,000.00

Astonishing how many people never make a will. I have watched Heir Hunters now and then, and it grieves you to see someone's estate going to people who in some cases did not even know the person existed, or hadn't seen or heard of them for decades, while the friends/neighbours who had been looking after them for 20 odd years get nothing.
