Record Low Teenage Pregnancy Rates

Recommended Posts

Probably cheap entertainment x boxes etc.

When teen pregnancies started ramping up where Im from (the late 70s), it was purely play the LHA hosuing.

Before the late 70s, concil housing was doled out according to local need.

Then they started giving points - single mum was a shoe in.

About 30% of girls in my year were knocked up by 18.

A good 10% below 16.

Historically, most women in area tended to knock out their kids by 25. But they did tend to be married and not on benefits.

Now, they still get knocked up but they get knocked up later.

Talking to a friends daughter they want to go out and have fun til there early 20s then get knocked up and then joining in the benefit fun.

Previously the draw was jumping the LHA housing queue. Now its tax credits.

Serious question:

As long as the woman is above the age of consent, what is wrong with teenage pregnancy, when they are probably at their physical peak and ready to bear children? ]

Are we in a society that regards children as a burden, or one that implicitly fails to prepare people to become parents?

Nothing at all. Provided the individual pays for the children themselves (or their family pays for them). There is no reason for the State or other taxpayers to pay for it.

Yep - no problems with teenages popping out kids - although health stats point to it best them popping them out over 18.

Its the tax payers paying for them that I object to.

Not just teenagers; anyone kids.

I think the solution is that as a 31 year old bloke who is now in a position to pay for a child, I should really be finding myself a nice 16 year old to impregnate, since she has so many years of fertility ahead of her, instead of trying to find a 30-something on Plenty of Fish.

I'm sure I can probably start a cult or something with this plan.

Why have sex when is stops you playing COD. Tackling teenage pregnancy was easy.

Lots of kids don't meet to socialise they just do it over the internet and play computer games.

That's the way it has worked through millions of years of human development.

Modern societies now segregate people based on age (at school, at college, at work) so your highest level of exposure to the opposite sex is now people of the same age.

This is the sensible path for most men of that age. Why would you want a woman of 30+ (well past her best in terms of physical appearance and fertility) if you could have one nearer to 20?

Yes.

I've never met a 30+ childless woman who is not aware of that fact. You might need to work on the 16yo though.

Bring in a contribution based benefit system - like the rest of the world, basically, to the UK and the suicide rate of 35+ women and male chavscum will shoot up.
