Block of Apartments for sale Irchester Road, Rushden, NN10 9XE

£625,000"

For anyone who doesnt know rushden....£100K for a flat is 60K too much. Looks like there are no end of "apartment" owners in the area looking for some mug buyer.

It looks to me like this is a repo-block, or maybe a developer trying to get rid en-masse. so I am amazed to see such a massive asking price for the area.

Back in the real world....1 bed flat 60K

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-47075581.html

2 bedder for 75K.

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-46211458.html?premiumA=true

Both still well over-priced.

And....listed on the same day, a further block of 5 at the same ridiculous sort of prices

Someone trying to get out maybe.....it's crash time folks.

Odds on it`s a repo toilet/cooker/boilers taped up /warning signs on them

Yeah, that was my logic, not sure a developer would do that, wouldnt they want it all to look pristine and shiny, maybe with twigs in a vase in the corner.

Banks trying to off loads over priced flats at the top of the market ?

Some pensioner can snap this bargain up with their pension money.....

The details says they are fully let - generating $35k per year. => probably (1) not condemned by gas authorities, (2) likely value is approx 10 * rental = $350k.

Could well be the banks are letting them out, toilets tape down warnings on gas appliance`s are the give away, theres the possibility that someone bought them as repos and are now trying to flip them and are using the original photos from the repo sales bumf ,The EA may be

I find the quote below strange considering they are allegedly all let

N.B. - SINCE THE PHOTOGRAPHS WERE TAKEN, THE PROPERTIES DO HAVE FITTED CARPETS AND FLOOR COVERINGS THROUGHOUT.

Why not change the photos !!! Are the just lazy ?

It's not like you have to send your spool off to pronto-print nowadays.

Is this supposed to be a riddle? The photos were taken some time ago during a refurbishment, and the vendor does not want to disturb the current tenants by coming in and taking photos (not to mention the logistics needed to call into all six flats).

Look like they could be BTL some of them.

And the guide prices (which, ok, is unreliable) indicate that a gross yield of between 8% and 10% should be expected on residential rental property.
