What Happened To That Riverside House In Cornwall?

Recommended Posts

Guest

Ages ago there was some lifestyle coach/guru bloke selling a "luxury" house by the water in cornwall.... can't find it in the forums. Anyone know what happened to him/it? If I remember correctly he'd spent millions and was truly kite flying.

This thread, assuming it's him:

He had a nauseating self-promotion video on YouTube (regrettably since-pulled) which was so bad it wasn't funny (pics of him doing heroic stuff and a camera attached to a bike which filmed back at him as he was riding). Contained the classic line "I have made, and lost, 30 million pounds."

I think he is mentally ill. Seriously. F*****g fruit loop.

You'd think that having gone to the trouble and cost of making that video with the US actresses that he'd at least click on it a couple of hundfred times himself.

He over-specced that house to the most ludicrous degree for what was almost certainly going to be a holiday home.

And I'm pretty sure he was strongly advised to keep it simple. But he knew best.

have to laugh at his quote

‘Estate agents have an outdated approach,’ said Blain in 2008. ‘They need a business mind and that’s what I bring.’

Successful selling 2006 Conference

Priceless.

Unfortunately, I know a whole load of people that would lap that up and even pay for his wisdom.

Jonathan Blain, who almost almost fought in the Falklands war and almost sailed across the Atlantic,

The Extraordinary Personal Experiences section of his website is pure, unadulterated, thigh slapping, comedy gold

Drive! Drive!!! a warship!!!!!

I used to work on fishing boats.

Always a good joke asking an old Captain to have a go driving the boat.

Yes, that did stick out a bit for someone who went to BRNC- albeit for a short time and albeit with unfortunate enough timing to just to miss having Prince Andrew as a personal acquaintance.

I wondered, given his looseness with language, whether 'youngest person' to drive and fight meant it was a badge earned during a spell in the Sea Cadets, as a Sea Cadet Officer perhaps.

There was too much to choose from in his bio though - so I thought a link was best

But as I said, the sad, very sad thing is that I know people in Management that would lap up all that baloney, and probably, pay for the privilege.
