Improvements To The Measurement Of Owner Occupiers’ Housing Costs And Private Housing Rental Prices

Recommended Posts

Some bedtime reading. There was a thread a while back(maybe it was updated with this link). The ONS

have done a paper on the improvements implemented to the rental equivalence measure of owner occupies' housing costs in CPIH.

Apologies if already posted. edit: there is a lot in there to digest!

Yeah but it's ok because in a conveniently revisionist world, one where the Government is symmetrically bothered about such things and life effects on the way up/down, the rental stats revelation better justifies the rise in house prices.
